Free Legoland Tickets

Finding free Legoland tickets isn't easy, but there are ways to get free child passes to this fun Southern California theme park.

I've run across coupons for a free child ticket in the Lego Club Magazine, which is available with a free subscription here Lego Club subscription.

Can't wait for the magazine? You may find that occasionally, local San Diego stores will offer up free child Legoland tickets upon purchase of an Adult ticket.

Supercuts, Carls Jr., Burger King, and Wendys are three franchises that recently had this great deal, so keep an eye out for bargains. When you stop by, be sure and ask specifically for the tickets; I personally have never had coupons offered to me by the cashier, even when the tickets are sitting in plain sight. However, when when I ask, I always get more than one pass. Usually, the cashier will ask you how many you want, which is perfect if you have more than one paying adult going along for the trip. Now, please be kind and don't be greedy, because the person behind you may want free tickets too!

Unfortunately, the Brickmaster program below no longer exists! Boo, Lego! However, rumour has it that Lego will be rolling out a similar offer sometime during 2011. I don't know at this time whether free tickets will be included yet or not; as soon as I have more information, you can be sure I'll update.

The most sure-fire way of scoring a free kid's ticket to Legoland is to join their Brickmaster program.

Belonging to Brickmaster costs $39.99 a year, but you get lots of cool goodies for the investment, like:

• Brickmaster magazine subscription (six times a year, includes Bionicle comic books)
• 6 Lego sets delivered right to your house (one set mailed every two months)
• Legoshop coupons worth $5 off a $20 purchase
• AND a free Legoland California ticket!

Since a single day child's ticket costs $57, that's quite a savings just for joining the program. Please note that you will receive a coupon for your free child's admission in the mail, so plan to purchase the membership well in advance of your trip.
