How To Find Sea World Discounts

Plan ahead to find the best deals on Sea World tickets!

There are usually a number of Sea World discounts running at any time; however, it can sometimes take some time and research to find the best deals available.

We're a large family, so I am ALWAYS on the look out for saving some money, some where. No matter how small, I'll take it! Fortunately, you can use my expertise without doing all of the work to quickly find cheaper tickets for your trip to Sea World.

If you don't do a little legwork ahead of time, here's what you'll be paying for tickets at Sea World:

• Single day, adult tickets: $65
• Single day, kids 3-9 and seniors 65+: $55
• Children 3 and under are free.

OUCH, right?

I can't promise you tickets for FREE (wouldn't that be nice, though?) but I can promise to help you get started on finding the most affordable tickets available. Here are a few places to check out for Sea World discounts:

• Through 12/31/10, buy a full-price adult ticket and receive a child's ticket for just $5 through the Sea World Cares promotion: "a href="http://arestravel.com/722_seaworldcares.html" target="_blank">Sea World San Diego.
• Costco. Tickets are not always available, but it's easy to check: Costco discounts. You can usually purchase tickets online, too, for added convenience, even if you're not a Costco member.
• AAA. You've got that membership for a reason, so use it! Visit www.AAA.com/seaworld for 10% off single-day tickets. More discounts may be available, too.
• Visit California has a promo deal good through 12/31/10. Get $6 off single day here.
• Sea World Fun Card. Though this deal expires at the end of 2009, it's still a great bargain. Buy a regularly priced ticket and receive unlimited admission for the rest of the year. Some blackout dates apply. In my experience, Sea World usually offers this program at least once during a year, so it's a good one to watch for.
• AARP members receive $5 off up to six tickets most days of the week; you get $8 off on Tuesdays.

If you'd like to visit Sea World for two days while you're here, check out their Deluxe Admission. For about $10 more over the regular admission, you can come back to Sea World for a second day of fun, as long as it's withing seven days of purchase. Since the park is pretty big, with lots going on, I think you could easily spend two days here and enjoy yourself. Some exhibits and shows are worth seeing more than once!

Become a Passport member and save on admission, tours, camps, food and lots more. If you're a local and know you'll be visiting the park more than two or three times, becoming a membership is the smartest way to see Sea World at a discount price.
